School Programs
All of our programs support Vermont's Framework of Standards & Learning Opportunities. Each program costs $3 per student plus travel costs if held at your school. Groups may participate in more than one program during their visit to Hildene. Groups may bring their own brown bag lunch for our picnic tables based on availability. You are welcome to explore our walking trails and visit our small farm.

Observatory & Astronomy Club Astronomy was a lifelong interest of Robert Todd Lincoln and he found Hildene to be the perfect place to pursue his hobby. He chose a high point of land just 80 yards northeast of the house to build his observatory.

Interpretive Trails We are delighted to share Hildene's Farm and natural areas with you. The walking trails are part of our cross-country ski trail system so on your walk you will see other trails and signs that are not indicated on your map. All trails are easy with some rolling terrain. Trail distances are approximate.
